''Aphysoneura pigmentaria'', the Bamboo Painted Ringlet or Bamboo Ringlet, is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family. It is found in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe.〔(Afrotropical Butterflies: Nymphalidae - Tribe Melanitini )〕 The habitat consists of the bamboo zone of montane forests. Adults are on wing year round.
